WHAT IS IMPACT 2010 ABOUT?

 

If you are looking for a dynamic way to be motivated and trained to be an effective Christian, then IMPACT 2010 is the event for you.  This highly charged weekend of worship, inspirational speakers and special seminars is bound to put you light years ahead.

 

Hilton Harrisburg & Towers

The Hilton in downtown Harrisburg is located next to Strawberry Square.  Also connected is an IMAX Theatre, Science Center, The Performing Arts Center of the Whitaker Center and a Food Court.  All are within a short walk through an enclosed walkway.  The Hilton’s rooms are large and luxurious.  These are the most attractive rooms that we have ever had for an IMPACT conference.  There is a nice indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.  Next door is also a parking GARAGE.  Buses and vans can be parked on City Island in a secure lot which is only a brief walk across the Susquehanna River.

 

SPEAKER - BOB LENZ

Considered one of the nation’s top speakers, Bob easily connects with his audiences by sharing valuable principles intertwined with stories and personal experiences that help youth deal with real life.  He explores sober issues while using his unique gift of humor.  His message of hope, worth, courage and respect ignite an interest in young people and somewhere between laughing at one of his embarrassing moments and getting choked up over one of his true stories, they realize their lives have been changed.  Bob speaks to over 250,000 teens and parents across North America each year through school assembly programs, parent programs and conferences.  His range of topics include:  making positive choices, leadership and self-image, as well as the prevention of gangs and violence, drug and alcohol abuse and suicide. 

 

ARDAN JAMES-AJ The Animated Illusionist

AJ has an ability to provide a message in ways that engage, entertain and educate all at the same time, incorporating dance, illusions, physical comedy, gravity defying stunts, mime and a host of other techniques.  He started as a ventriloquist but found that neither he nor the dummy were funny...so he taught himself pantomime.  He has been performing for over 15 years now, writing all his own material.   

 

BAND - “MIKESCHAIR”

The five members of Mikeschair started playing together in their dorm room at Belmont University and discovered similar and new musical passions which slowly developed into a full functioning band.

INFORMATION ON REGISTRATION

The cost will be $82 per person for 4 in a room, $98 per person if 3 in a room and $117 per person for 2 in a room, if you register by January 21ST.  A $25 deposit is required with your registration form (the balance will be due by February 10th).  If you register after January 23rd, the cost is $96, $106, and $131 respectively.  Rooming is required when you register.  We may not be able to accommodate rooming changes after February 10th.The conference will begin with registration on Friday, 7-8pm, and will end at noon on Sunday.  For more info contact us. 

 

NOTES TO YOUTH LEADERS

 

In order to have adequate supervision we are requesting each youth group to bring a ratio of one adult to every five students.  Rooms will be filled on a first come basis.  Youth Groups, we will not be able to combine students from different groups to fill a room.  All youth groups must pay per person rate based on the number of people in each room.  NO exceptions!  Please note that we must have rooming included with registration.
