WHAT IS IMPACT 2008 ABOUT? If you are looking for a dynamic way to be motivated and trained to be an effective Christian, then IMPACT 2008 is the event for you. This highly charged weekend of worship, inspirational speakers, and special seminars is bound to put you light years ahead.
IMPACT 2008 is being sponsored by the Richfield Mennonite Church, Central PA Youth Ministries and Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church, Mifflintown.
Bob Stromberg – For over 20 years, Bob Stromberg has been delighting audiences of all ages with his unique personal style or speaking, storytelling, and humor. His presentation is disarming, casual, characterized by humility, and a healthy blend of knee-slapping comedy and wholesome encouragement. In a word, Bob’s remarkable gift is his ability to interact with an audience, develop a warm rapport, gather people together and facilitate surprising laughter with an arsenal of gifts including physical comedy, a non threatening touch of audience partcipation and yes… even hand shadows, which the London Metro described as “studding.” Add to this hilarious, tender and thought-provoking stories from his own experience and audiences leave amazed and different than when they came.
Matt Papa Band – Matt began the joyful and intense journey of following Jesus Christ at the age of 12. In the same year, he picked up a guitar and started strumming away for Jesus. After a period of deep refinement in his life, Matt sensed God calling him to Wholly devote his abilities to bringing people to Christ and Glory to God. Check out the band at mattpappa.com.
Also appearing will be our emcee Josh Griffin, manager of Purpose Driven Youth Ministry, a venue pastor at Saddleback Church and works with Simply Youth Ministry. Costs - $80 per person for 4 in a room. $96 per person if 3 in a room and $115 per person for 2 in a room, if you register by January 25h. A $25 deposit is required with your registration form (the balance will be due by February 9th). If you register after January 25th, the cost is $94, $104 and $129 respectively. Rooming is required when you register. Rooming changes can be made until 2/22/08.
NOTE TO YOUTH LEADER - In order to have adequate supervision we are requesting each youth group to bring a ratio of one adult to every five students. Rooms will be filled on a first come basis at four to a room. Youth Groups, we will not be able to combine students from different groups to fill a room. All youth groups must pay per person rate based in the number of people in each room. NO exceptions! Please note that we must have rooming included with registration.
